How scheduled interpreting works
A well-planned session starts with clear details and ends with a reviewed record. Lingfaro supports scheduled in-person or external video interpretation, with exact assignment terms approved before anyone commits.
1. Describe the request
Share the setting, requested language and dialect, general subject, preferred format, location or video arrangement, and expected time. Add the interpreter qualifications needed for the setting, and leave out unnecessary personal or case details.
If timing is flexible, give a few suitable options. This can make it easier to review availability while the team reviews the request.
2. Review the proposed terms
Review the proposed interpreter, session details, and exact terms before accepting. The operator approves those terms before commitment, so clarify any open question before proceeding.
Payment and account details are entered through Stripe’s hosted pages. Follow the information shown there and the terms presented for the assignment.
3. Review the session record
After the session, review the record for the details your organization needs, such as whether the session occurred and the time and format recorded. Raise a question or discrepancy for review before payment.
Keep official clinical, school, legal, and case records in the systems your organization authorizes. A session record documents the interpreting session; it does not replace those records.
