Privacy Policy
Enhanced Language & Cultural Services, LLC, doing business as Lingfaro (“Lingfaro,” “we,” or “us”), uses information to operate the platform and related services. A signed business associate agreement, data processing agreement, or other contract governs the information and duties it specifically covers.
Information used by the service
Information may include account and organization details, interpreter profile and credential information, assignment language and scheduling details, session status and records, support requests, and payment or payout status.
Payment-card and bank details are entered through the payment provider. Do not send patient identifiers, payment-card data, bank credentials, or sensitive case details in email or general scheduling notes.
How information is used
We use information to provide and maintain accounts, coordinate requests and assignments, create session records, support payment workflows, respond to support requests, protect the service, and understand product use.
Where information is handled for an institutional client, the client’s signed agreement and documented instructions govern the applicable processing relationship.
Optional browser analytics
Optional browser usage analytics are off unless you choose “Allow analytics.” You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using Privacy preferences. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, optional analytics stay off and cannot be enabled while that signal is active.
When enabled, the browser sends a limited set of event names and allowlisted categories, such as a page category or workflow action. It does not send full URLs, search terms, record identifiers, form contents, messages, screen recordings, or automatic page or DOM capture. The platform does not use session replay or autocapture for this browser analytics feature.
Essential service and security telemetry is handled separately from this optional browser preference. It may record pseudonymous operational events and allowlisted categories needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. It does not include free-text errors, raw URLs, form contents, or message contents. Optional analytics are sent to PostHog only when the relevant service configuration is enabled; absent that configuration, the event exporter is inactive.
Retention and choices
You can review or update account information through the service where those controls are available. Retention and deletion depend on the type of information, the service being provided, signed agreements, and legal obligations.
For information controlled by your institution, direct requests to that organization. We will handle requests according to the applicable agreement and law.
